Essential and luxurious: Giorgio Armani’s DNA permeates every Armani/Casa collection.
Many are the novelties for the brand, first of all the inauguration of the new showroom in Corso Venezia 14 in Milan during the Salone del Mobile 2017. The entire Armani/Casa collection is displayed on the four storeys of the building; the novelties are on the ground floor, accessible from the street and open to the outside via large windows that capture the attention.

Regarding the 2017 collection, the search for absolute perfection continues, featuring refined details with a contemporary flavor combined with redesigned traditional styles. Giorgio Armani declared: “Design is an essential part of my vision of lifestyle and in this new store I have the opportunity to show the entire collection. It is an important but not monumental space that I imagined as an atelier, fluid, versatile and constantly evolving.”

Also, the design work of the Armani/Casa interior design team continues, having signed interesting interior projects across the world for over ten years. Their latest effort is the collaboration with Smart Hero Group for an important real estate project in Beijing. The project involves the construction of luxury residential units, common areas and amenities within the Smart Hero-Central Park Plaza residential complex, “one of the 10 most representative contemporary buildings in China” as defined by the Chinese Ministry of Culture together with distinguished architectural experts in 2014. The Smart Hero-Central Park Plaza is located inside the CBD (Central Business District) of Beijing, opposite the south entrance of Chaoyang Park – the largest urban park in the Asian continent – and is destined to become the “greenest” building complex in China.

The project is part of the long-term strategy of Smart Hero Group aimed at developing residential units able to offer a unique customer experience. The structure was designed by architect Ma Yansong. The ecological aspect of the structure that reflects the Chinese philosophy of “unity between man and nature” is fundamental and pays particular attention to the environmental integration of Chaoyang Park and its beautiful lake. The project reveals a “landscaped” approach, with clear references to peaks, slopes, mountains and ridges. Blending beautifully with the nearby park, the new building will be a reference point for the future, a lifestyle model that combines nature, health and culture in the city of Beijing.
