Francesco Molon was an important design partner for the redevelopment of some interior spaces and the construction of a new congress center at Hotel Simplon in Baveno, on Lake Maggiore.
Covering an area of 1,400 square metres, the intervention began in July 2016 and lasted for about a year. In particular, Francesco Molon has refurbished the contemporary meeting rooms, consisting of four separable or open spaces, depending on the different needs, equipped with all sorts of technology: sound diffusion, light calibration, micro-climatic control, dimming systems and roller screens.
The four access doors from the Galleria Distribuzione Sale were realized by Francesco Molon Giemme-Stile and exclusively designed by architect Claudio M. Fimiani. All doors are equipped with steel frames, decorative elements in glossy polished steel and polished brass, fire-retardant button-back leather or eco-leather, panic handles, magnetic card systems and numeric keypads.
Also designed by architect Claudio M. Fimiani and produced by Francesco Molon Giemme-style are the fixed and movable walls with three-dimensional fire-retardant MDF panelboards made of lacquered polyester with pearlescent finish.
