HOME Italia is pleased to welcome the Neapolitan architect Giuliano Andrea dell’Uva to its exclusive club.
Following in the footsteps of his great-grandfather, an interior designer famous in Campania at the beginning of the last century, dell’Uva opened his own architecture studio in the Neapolitan city.
His work is based on a mix of ancient and modern, able to keep track of memory and bring it back to the contemporary. Despite the fact that he has signed speeches in the four corners of the world, dell’Uva remains strongly linked to his wonderful land of origin.
His works include villas and high-end residences, shops, boutique hotels, lounge bars and cafes. His most interesting project is the recovery of the former Cirio factories in 2013, now converted into scenographic laboratories for the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples. Since 2016 he is in charge of the opening of new stores throughout Italy for the historic pastry Giovanni Scaturchio.
Always open to new challenges, from 2014 dell’Uva has joined the profession of architect to that of artistic director of the furnishing company Livio de Simone, for which he designed a whole range of new fabrics. He also stands out as an entrepreneur, as the creator and co-owner of Capri Suite, a small charming hotel in the heart of Anacapri.
