Once again this week the HOME Italia club is pleased to welcome international architecture studios!
We continuously create connections between professionals, furniture producers and design lovers and we never stop growing…
Daniel and Michel Bismut are brothers, architects and have always been working together. A year after the foundation of Bismut & Bismut’s agency in 1987, they launched a trendy shoe shop in New York City which propelled them to a media exposure. Project after project, Bismut & Bismut style has come out: low use of architectural and decorative effects; combination of essential materials and shapes enhanced by lights and reflections.
Since the beginning of their career, they have taken inspiration from architects Carlo Scarpa, Louis Kahn and Tadao Ando. Refusing to be specialised, Michel and Daniel deal with a large variety of commissions on different scales. They design from the detail of a piece of furniture up to the architecture of a building. They are currently working on the interior design of a luxury yacht built in Italy (“San Lorenzo by Bismut”), an office building, some private residences and a home accessory line in collaboration with Dior.
Claudia Pelizzari is an internationally renowned interior designer.
Her realizations include residences, hotels and restaurants. Her style is eclectic and she likes to combine pieces she has designed with different elements that range from modern to contemporary art, winking at Japan. Her studio is staffed by architects and designers who, working with skilled Italian craftsmen, create tailor-made projects of absolute uniqueness.
She has been an external consultant for Interior Design degrees at the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano and a lecturer at the Academy. She likes to use natural materials with low environmental impact and lives in a house in the woods with large windows overlooking the city.
