The Saloni WorldWide Moscow 2017 closed to great acclaim after squaring up to the Russian market.
The 13th edition of the Saloni WorldWide Moscow, which drew to a close last Saturday at Moscow’s Crocus Expo exhibition centre, proved yet again to be the most important quality furniture and furnishing accessories event on Russian soil. 32,490 attendees, of whom 18,269 trade operators (+9.3% versus 2016), were recorded over the four-day event.
“We are ending this 13th edition of the Saloni WorldWide Moscow on an extremely high note and with a genuine desire to follow up the interesting contacts made over the last few days. We now need to capitalise on this and do our best to grow the prestige of the event still further, by bringing over the best of the design showcased at the Salone del Mobile in Milan and involving as many high-end leading brands as possible”, said Claudio Luti, President of the Salone del Mobile.
Among the novelties, the Italian Trade Agency ICE organised a packed programme of B2B meetings with 120 sectoral professionals chosen from 24 regions of the Russian Federation and Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
This year also marked the 13th edition of the SaloneSatellite WorldWide Moscow, involving 37 young designers from Russia and the former Soviet Republics. The three winners Alexandra Fedotova, Valeria Sergienko, Nikolay Gryaznev and special mentioned Ekaterina Khomyuk will be invited to the next edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan in April 2018.
The Saloni WorldWide Moscow will be back in October 2018.
