INDEX Design Series, connecting the world with the Middle East design community, took place from 23-26 May 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The events were officially opened by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and Industry of the UAE, on Monday 23 May, and welcomed over 3,000 architecture, design and interiors professionals across the four-day annual event.

This year’s shows were even more successful with an additional 350 exhibitors compared to 2015, bringing the total to over 1,000 suppliers. On top of this, a whole host of new show features were introduced which proved to be extremely popular, such as the INDEX Design Innovation Forum. Visitor figures also increased by 7 percent in comparison to 2015’s event, welcoming 34,400 attendees in total.

Workspace at INDEX, the home of commercial interior design, completed its 16th edition, attracting thousands of top tier architectural & interior design firms and end-users over the course of the event. This year’s show featured an even larger range of exhibitors and products.
